Ody-C #4 is gross. Red and purple and brown carnage spills across its pages. It may be strange to call such gore beautiful, but there are many strangely beautiful things about this comic. Completely ridiculous.
I would be dishonest if I said this volume wasn’t a bit of a letdown after how much I loved Higher, Faster, Further, More. I still love the art. I still love the characters. Shit, as they say, is getting real. Sex Criminals, Vol. 1 remains one of the funniest, sexiest, most ridiculous things I’ve ever read. That it’s a comic is only a plus.
