gift from LittlePlat

Gracias, LittlePlat! Muchos Gracias!

December 10, 2021 by Emmalita 3 Comments

I rarely miss having a car, even though I live in a city with a terrible public transit system, but today, if I had a car, I would drive down to Houston and buy LittlePlat some really excellent tacos and some of these cookies I keep making. I am very happy to have both Hench and Donut Fall in Love. Thank you!

A Holiday Gift With PERFECT Timing!

December 7, 2021 by MsWas 3 Comments

Here’s a HUGE thank you to LurkeyTurkey whose Holiday Gift Exchange package was sitting on my porch when I got home yesterday morning. Thank you, ElCicco!

December 2, 2021 by Jake 1 Comment

Thank you to the very thoughtful ElCicco for your package. Not only did I get two books I’m excited to read (John Copenhaver’s new thriller The Savage Kind and Mike Capite’s love letter to NYC Jacket Weather), I also received a lovely Pittsburgh post card AND some locally sold toffee. What a sweet gift. I hope you have the best holiday!

Book Exchange Win Again

November 30, 2021 by LanierHgts 3 Comments

I am so lucky yet again this year for the fab gift! Thank you FrancieNolan! I have not read Louise Penny, but am excited to do so! I was told that in reading them I will need to plan a Canadian vacation and also get some croissants to eat while I read.  Would you agree with this assessment? If so, I will get right on that! 🤣
