April 2022 Donation

First Donation of 2022

I’m happy to announce that we’ve made our first donation of the year to the American Cancer Society, and that brings the grand total of our donations to the American Cancer Society to $10,000! Thank you to all of the participants, donors, volunteers, and friends who have helped reach this amazing milestone. We’ve got some great stuff planned for the year, so please consider supporting us today financially if you’re able. You can do so via PayPal or Venmo.

Thanks from the American Cancer Society

We received a lovely thank you note from our contact at the American Cancer Society, thanking us for our donations last year. Thanks to two matching donations at the end of the year, Cannonball Read donated $1,080 to ACS in 2021, which brings our total donation to ACS to $9,655. Please consider making a donation to support us this year in our mission to stick it to cancer, one book at a time.

Last Donation of 2021

I’m so pleased to tell you that due to an end of year fundraising push, we were able to donate an additional $240.00 to the American Cancer Society. They had a matching grant at the time, so our donation dollars were doubled! And with Bothari43’s donation in December being doubled by her employer, Cannonball Read’s donations to ACS this year came to $1080.
