I never could resist a kissing book, either

Thank you, thank you for my book loot from the lovely Mrs. Julien 🙂 You did an excellent job of choosing, and it’s making it very difficult for things not to skip the queue and wind up next.  Thanks again!

Another Book Exchange, Another Wonderful Book

December 13, 2015 by ModernLove 1 Comment

Once more, Teresaelectro has gifted me with a wonderful book for the CBR book exchange!  And nailed it. A memoir? Check. A strong, kickass female voice? Check. A book that I’ve always seen and gone “huh, I should probably read that”? Check! I am super stoked to dig into this and I can’t thank you enough for this wonderful gift.

Chocolate and books, a match made in heaven

December 8, 2015 by yesknopemaybe 2 Comments

Many thanks to ElCicco for giving me two books we both really loved, Everything I Never Told You and Kindred. There is some serious magic in those books. Also the chocolate! 🙂 Not going to lie, I already ate one of those majestic chocolate covered oreos. Yum!
