Silk is one of the highly-anticipated (by me, anyways) new titles to come out of the Spider-Verse event. Penned by Supernatural writer Robbie Thompson and drawn by Stacey Lee, this comic introduces Cindy Moon as the new web-slinging superhero of New York. But don’t worry Parker fans, Peter is still around, and occasionally fights crime beside Silk, despite her best efforts to avoid him.
The space opera I never knew I needed
Cordelia’s honor is sci-fi with a strong female character. And not strong in that she kicks physical butt, but she is intelligent, brave and caring. She invests in the relationships of those around her and she is both a strong leader and a brilliant second in command. This series is another one of Image Comics’ great titles, along with some of my other favourites such as Saga (READ IT), Rat Queens and East of West.
