When Asking A Goddess for a Boon, Be Careful How You Word Your Request

Take A Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

November 23, 2020 by Emmalita Leave a Comment

I read and thoroughly enjoyed the first book in Talia Hibbert’s the Brown Sisters trilogy, Get a Life, Chloe Brown.  Knowing that I would likely enjoy the second book, Take a Hint, Dani Brown, I put off reading it – as one does. This was both genius and foolish because, of course I loved it. I loved it even more than Get a Life. “If something keeps you human when pressure makes you feel like a volcano, hold on to that thing by any means necessary.” (Bingo #2)

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

#CBR12 Bingo: Yellow Official book description: Danika Brown knows what she wants: professional success, academic renown, and an occasional roll in the hay to relieve all that career-driven tension. But romance? Been there, done that, burned the T-shirt. Romantic partners, whatever their gender, are a distraction at best and a drain at worst. So Dani asks the universe for the perfect friend-with-benefits—someone who knows the score and knows their way around the bedroom.   When brooding security guard Zafir Ansari rescues Dani from a workplace […]
