I wasn’t planning on listening to this book right now, but then a sale happened and here we are. This is my second Patton review. His newer book, Silver Screen Fiend, is reviewed as well. While, I’m not a big fan of Patton Oswalt’s standup (outside of No Reason to Complain), I love listening to his long-form interviews. In some ways, we have very different worldviews. I like Patton Oswalt. I appreciate his appreciation of things. He is a nerd; he knows how to be a fan. His standup can be biting, but is not devoid of wonder, awe, of fully investing in something.
