I went to school with Ben Montgomery. We weren’t friends as he was popular and I was a punk rock snob. Through the power of social media, we’ve become friendly almost 20 years later. He’s also become quite the writer, and I would have never have guessed he had it in him. Just like I imagine people would have never guessed a 67-year-old woman could hike 2000+ miles with barely more than the clothes on her back.

I have this theory about Keanu Reeves. The less his character knows about what’s going on, the better the movie. Is it wrong to dream for a dystopia?
I just found out that Wil Wheaton did the audio version of this book (which I will be getting shortly). That in itself should tell you how awesome it is, but you could still read my review if you want.

Like Matilda, I could read at 4-years-old. Unlike her, my parents encouraged my reading, as I’m doing with my daughter. In case the title didn’t give it away, her favorite show is Super Why.
