30 Books in 30 Days, Vol. 2 Book 26/30 I’m sad that I’m rating this three stars, but it’s representative of my experience listening to the audiobook. If/when I re-read, I think I will like it better. Black Sun (and its cover) was one of my favorite books of 2020. It’s no surprise that I’ve been eagerly anticipating the next book in the trilogy, though the lackluster cover definitely gave me pause. The tl:dr version of this review is: I could not put it down. It was so, so good. Very much a middle book, but a very entertaining middle book. Fevered Star starts with a murder.
