Death by Eyeball

January 24, 2017 by Emmalita Leave a Comment

Original Sin was a Marvel Comics miniseries. I read the collected 8 issues of the main story. There were also tie in issues, which I did not read. Detective Boobs Fights Ghosties

April 30, 2015 by McM 2 Comments

These two graphic novels, The Unknown and The Unknown: Devil Made Flesh, were good enough, but I was repeatedly sucked right out of the story by the main character’s overdone breasts. Let me explain. Here’s the description: “Revered as the smartest person alive, Catherine Allingham is the world’s most famous provate investigator. Follow her adventures as she sets out to solve the one mystery she’s never been able to crack-death!”     These were the covers that enticed me to pick these up at the […]

I was agog after reading that sentence. Could not read on for five minutes. I mean, wtf.

“Skin covered finger bones”—that’s hilarious. This was a very satisfying review.

No heist, but it still feels a little heist-y due to some heist-adjacent action.

Ooh, keep going! The books keep getting better. Also, I literally just bought a sticker yesterday that has that quote...
