Oh, man, I have so many thoughts. And I’m also not entirely sure what I think about some of what happened in this book. On the one hand, I LOVED IT. The case and Robin and Strike’s personal lives dovetailed beautifully. So much of this book was character shiz, which is my favorite kind of shiz. The Definition of Comfort Reading
This book is the literary equivalent of fuzzy slippers, a soft sweater, and the best cup of hot chocolate. It is pure comfort and takes me to a happy place every time I reread it.
