A fun little book, but some of the stories were weak, and a couple were just schmoopsy fanservice. Hardcore fans will really love this, though. This series continues to be witty, fluffy fun. It’s really difficult not to just read one of these books in one sitting. They go down like ice cream on a hot day. The Goblin Emperor won the Locus Award for Best Fantasy novel. It is a novel that I will definitely go back and listen to the audio narration of since there are a lot of names and places that do not roll of the tongue.
