50 Harbor Street

50 Harbor Street by Debbie Macomber

August 29, 2022 by Classic Leave a Comment

Bless, I used to gobble these books down like chocolates back in the day. It was just so comforting to check in with the residents of Cedar Cove. My re-reads haven’t been that great though. This at least took my mind off of anything pressing and I just went with it though I thought the plot was way too obvious. I forgot about the whole thing with Linette and Cal dating. Solid Entry in Cedar Cove Series

44 Cranberry Point by Debbie Macomber

November 5, 2019 by Classic Leave a Comment

This was just an okay installment in the Cedar Cove series. I thought that Macomber often glossed over really serious issues with no real communication between couples (Cecilia and Ian; Jon and Maryellen) and that the whole mystery with Bob and Peggy was a big washout. It could only have been one person behind the whole thing so color me unsurprised by the reveal. That said, I did enjoy reading about certain events (the bachelor/dog auction was hilarious) and cracked up at Jack and Olivia […]
