Thank You Pooja!

I told myself I would post this before Christmas; here I am scooting under the line again. But both parts of my Book exchange made it! I am very excited to have received The Spear that Cuts Through Water—I have been eying that one off for a while. And while I was less familiar with There Will Be Fire, I have to say it looks super promising; Maggie Thatcher and the IRA? Sign me up. Thanks again, I can’t wait!

Thank you so much, ElCicco!

Sitting down to write up reviews for the books I’ve read lately, I realized that I never posted a thank you for the Book Exchange I received. (Almost two weeks ago, now. Red, my face is right now…) I opened the box (which was thankfully fine inside, even though my mail deliverer apparently decided to use it in a game of kickball) to discover two beautiful wrapped packages and a lovely personalized card from ElCicco. One package contained Idolfire, which has been on my “Books […]

The books "F*cked Up Fairy Tales" by Liz Gotauco and "The Raven Scholar" by Antonia Hodgson standing in front of a Christmas tree.

Thank you, narfna!

When The Raven Scholar arrived, I was delighted as it has not been on my radar but it does sound like something I will quite enjoy.  Since receiving it, I keep seeing it pop up online as recommended and now I’m even more excited to read it!  Then F*cked Up Fairy Tales arrived a few days later and I couldn’t have been more stoked.  I’ve been following Cosbrarian online since 2020 and I’m delighted to read her book.  Thank you for such thoughtful picks!

I want to wrap myself up in this book cover and live happily ever after.

LOOK at how beautiful this book by CL Polk is. I want this pattern in pjs and sheets and a phone case. It is just so pretty. Plus, it sounds amazing and I can’t wait to read it. I’ve had Whiteout on my TBR for a while and will crack it open to start off CBR13. The chocolate is delicious and I am hiding it from my kids. Thank you, Emmalita. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!
