Thank you Jen!!!!! (CBR Book Exchange – Woooooo!)
Y’all. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS GIFT. A book I never heard of? EXCITEMENT. And an Edgar Award Winner? YES. I am a sucker for an award winner. SASSY SOCKS?!? YES. Jen wrote an awesome card (A HANDWRITTEN CARD?!) and noted that the socks were “a bit of a gamble” but I giggled immediately so the gamble paid off. My first pair of socks boasting a swear word. esmemoria nailed it! All stuff I have wanted to read or didn’t know I wanted! Not sure what the slug thing is but it fits right in, and I do enjoy little toys like that.
Thank you Ale!!!!!!
I **love** the book you picked, The Night Circus! I’ve wanted to read this for ages and it’s exactly up my alley. And I love the little fabric mug coasters. You made my week! Thank you so much!

Thank you, llamareadsbooks!
Thank you, llamareadsbooks! Emmalita’s review got me quite interested in Sword, Stone, Table: Old Legends, New Voices since I’ve always liked Arthurian myths and retellings. As I’m working on improving the diversity of the voices I read, this anthology of “gender-bent, race-bent, LGTQIA+ inclusive retellings” from a diverse group of authors will help with that. I’m looking forward to reading this next year 🙂 Giving and receiving books is the best way to celebrate the holidays! Merry Book Exchange!
