Cursed Princess Club Volume One created by Lambcat is a WebToons special. In January 2023 volumes one and two (the summer of 2023) will be (hopefully) published in a physical format (as long as there are no broken-down trucks, snowstorms, printing issues, or acts of the Great Spaghetti Monster).
When the King of the Pastel Kingdom wakes his children in the morning, one is sleeping in the flowers that grows wherever she is, one has birds and critters brushing her hair, one is
delighting and sparkling in the morning in his birthday suit and then there is Gwendolyn. When the King sees his youngest, he greets her with all the love he has. Because well, despite the possum in her hair, the other creepy crawlies around, and her less then stereotypical beauty, she is just as perfect as the rest of the family.
Lambcat has taken the idea of a “Damsel in Distress” the “Fair Princess” and the “Cursed Fairytale” stereotype and done a little twisting and turning. There are the three princesses of the nearby kingdom that are betrothed to the girls (despite their overprotective father’s best judgment) and adventures to come. We have the “ugly sister” and the “not so woke” prince. We have a pampered llama. We have some crazy “cursed” princesses in the forest who befriend Gwen. Some understandable mistaken identities and more. The art is Manga format, but does not take away from the story as sometimes that style can for me, but adds more flavor (and since two of our characters (and I do mean characters!) are well versed in the culinary arts, that fits right in!
For at least 14 and up, though I know younger will try and would be fine, but just know your reader as there are some concepts not appropriate for everyone. 
I am assuming Volume one is the first season, and volume two will be the second, but as I have read as far as the online collection has taken me, I won’t say much more (as there is this scene with a princess and a man-tiger….). However, I can say that off beat humor, fun and colorful artwork, things you expect and things you don’t all come together that is for the fantasy, girl power, humorous, love goofy, mystery, intrigue and BFS … wait …. Think that is later… so never mind!
And even though I have already read it, I am putting in my preorder after posting this.
