I came home from work today and collected the numerous boxes from my front porch. Between Christmas shopping and getting some last minute things from Amazon for a trip my husband is taking there has been a pretty steady stream of boxes gracing our household. Needless to say, I was so excited to see I had received my Cannonball gift since everything else coming to the house seems to be for other people…
Well, I have to nominate ElCicco for the Cannonball Gift Giving Hall of Fame.
I received this lovely tote bag along with three wrapped books and a note saying I could open them now or wait until Christmas. There was also some delicious sounding chocolate bars I will be waiting to open until hubby gets on the plane tomorrow.
My husband, who was hungry and wanted to go to dinner, said they were wrapped so nicely and we should put them under the tree. I said, you’re right and put them back in the tote.
Then he went to get dressed for dinner and I opened them because deep down I am a 12 year old and she said I could!
I received three books from my Goodreads wishlist that I am so excited to read, in particular Radium Girls since it hits some of my most basic check marks- non fiction, WW2 and women- and it just won a Goodreads choice award!
I am equally psyched about The Keeper of Lost Things and You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me.
So thank you, thank you, thank you ElCicco!
