I read this book on a recommendation from Modern Mrs. Darcy, who said something about this being the sort of book that, upon reading the last page, she immediately turned to the first page and restarted. In this book, we get the story of Graham Greene’s various trips, stays, and excursions on the island of Capri. This is all told from the perspective of Shirley Hazzard, friend to Greene.
