Matilda all grown up!
I’ve always felt very attached to little Mara Wilson — the version from Mrs. Doubtfire and Matilda. Mrs. Doubtfire is by far one of my favorite movies (Robin Williams’s public persona has always reminded me of my dad, and sadly my parents’ marriage shares a lot with the one portrayed in the movie). And Mara’s little lisping girl was one of the best parts of the movie. She’s got some great lines. And then there’s Matilda. I cannot believe I failed to pre-order this book. I follow Ms. Wilson on Twitter and knew the book was coming out this week.
