Thank you, crystalclear!!!

December 10, 2019 by Bothari43 1 Comment

My book exchange buddy got me two things I’ve never heard of, but I’m so excited to add them to my TBR list! Thank you so much, crystalclear! I can’t wait to investigate this story of haunted palaces and lesbian necromancers (Gideon the Ninth, Tamsyn Muir), and super-students on their first mission (Aurora Rising, Amie Kaufman). Looking forward to them both!

Thanks, teresaelectro!

Came home yesterday after work to this happy surprise from teresaelectro. I was planning on reading both of these books in 2020, so now I have them ready to go! And I am *always* on the lookout for new bookmarks because there is a monster in my house that eats them. Thank you so much! This truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

Many thanks to the AWESOME Jen K for my lovely Book Exchange gift – a great book spine infinity scarf to keep me cozy while reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and What Angels Fear by C. S. Harris.

Thank you, Leedock!

Thank you, Leedock!  Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and Everlost: Book 1 of the Skinjacker Trilogy by Neal Shusterman would have been awesome enough.  But you also included this fantastic mug! I’ve always loved this phrase, “I’m not a Book Worm, I’m a Book Dragon”.  I consider dragons to be my spirit animal.  Here is some of my collection.  Thank you so very much!  Congratulations on your cannonball this year, best wishes for a lovely holiday season, and good luck on 2020’s cannonball read.  Warm Regards,  […]

Holiday Book Exchange Goodies!

December 6, 2019 by Leedock 2 Comments

Always fun to get a box of surprises, no? Instead of sending my book exchange partner to my Goodreads list this year, I just suggested that they read my reviews and send me something they think I would like. Turns out that little experiment worked out! Thanks, Black Raven! None of these books were on my radar and ALL of them sound delightful. Can’t wait to read and review them. A cup of tea and the bonus chocolate bar you sent will be the perfect […]

I remember enjoying this one. And you’ve reminded me that I have an arc for the third book.

I haven’t read this one but I got sucked into vampires early, probably around 2nd grade with a kids series...
