Bon Voyage, Bingo!

November 5, 2019 by Emmalita 4 Comments

Thank you so much to everyone who played the CBR11 Book Bingo Reading Challenge! Whether you filled every square, or just one, we are so glad you played. Some truly excellent reviews came out of the game.

In the end, there were 49 players, 34 had at least one bingo and 16 of you completed your bingo card. Bingo resulted in 729 reviews over 4 months.

A big congratulations to the Bingo Raffle winner: CarrieJay!

She won this fantastic design by our own Lisa Bee in their choice of  classic Red Bubble t-shirt, any size tote bag, or the water bottle, plus a $25 gift certificate to the bookstore** of her choice, or an Amazon gift card.

**Bookstore must sell online gift cards.

If you didn’t win a Red Bubble t-shirt, tote, or other merchandise, you can buy one for yourself (and someone else) and your stylish purchase will support our mission to stick it to cancer one book at a time.

If you want to be eligible for the Thirty Three Days of Giving raffle, donate between now and December 3 and you will be entered to win a prize package of books currently worth about $300.

Thank you so much for the feedback on this year’s game and what you would like to see next year. The survey is still open, so please feel free to let us know what you think. I think Reader’s Choice made a lot of people’s lives easier, so it will definitely be coming back. I really love the reviews that come out of Two Heads Are Better Than One, but I also understand that it is hard to find and sync up with a co-reviewer. We may retire the category, or work it in as an optional challenge. I love the suggestions for categories that are already coming in.

Finally, an enormous thank you to Yesknopemaybe for her amazing design for the bingo card and the graphics for the game, and to Mswas, who makes it all possible.

See you next year!

Thanks! For some reason it had gone to my spam folder. I’ll be in touch!
