The good news about Dory Fantasmagory: Head in the Clouds is I got it for free. This is another story where a child is not thinking and gets herself into trouble but does not seem to learn her lesson. This is usually due to the fact she is “so cute” or her teacher is unable to find a punishment Dory realizes is to curve her trouble-making and not “mean”, or her parents have a “modern” take on parenting, or in more than one case, her father is very clueless.
As soon as I heard the older siblings do the Older Sibling lament, “She always gets away with it” (not those words, but idea) I was Team Older Sibling (guess my sibling ranking). One 
example is when the mother sternly asks the brother did he write on the wall, but when he said it was Dory the mother is “Oh you wrote on the wall? And it’s a towel? How clever of a daughter I have.” (I reupped my I am With Team Older Sibling membership right then and there).
The siblings do get a little revenge later, but again Dory comes out on top when she is able to trick the tooth fairy, stop the evil witch and make a few calls on her banana to save her day. I am sorry to say Dory’s imagination is too vivid and not a role-model kind of imagination.
One of my biggest questions is “Why did Abby Hanlon made one of Dory’s friends this odd little girl who likes to clean?”
