not as good as i remembered sadface

This book is still much, much, much better than a lot of the Star Wars novels I’ve read, but it’s not as good as I remember it being. Granted, my standards weren’t suuuuuper high in 2004. Fighting On All Fronts

I was cautiously hopeful as I hadn’t read very much of his other work aside from the Star Wars novels, and I was curious to see how Mr. Zahn would set about creating a brand-new world. I can happily say that he did not disappoint.
