I did end up liking this series ender. As up and down as I’ve been with this series, it could have gone either way for me. This is my favorite thing Riordan has written in years. There was a distinct moment about a third of the way through this book when I thought, I don’t think I’m going to read any more of Rick Riordan’s books; I don’t think they are for me anymore.
