I’m working on a re-read of the Saga before I indulge myself in the latest, Volume 10, now that Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples are back from their sabbatical. Ready for Jolabokaflod!

Earlier this year, when someone posted an article on Facebook about the Icelandic tradition of Jolabokaflod (Yule book flood), my mom, sister, and I were like, “We’re so doing this.”  What’s not to like about hunkering down on Christmas Eve, drinking cocoa, giving each other books, and then spending the evening reading.  Thanks to Caitlin, I now have both the books and a mug to start this tradition.  Thank you! I am no stranger to the amazingness of Brian K. Vaughan.  I loved both “Y: The Last Man” and “Runaways” so when a friend offered to loan me “Saga” I was on board.  I enjoy graphic novels but don’t frequent shops or seek them out regularly, so I know I’m a bit late to the game (the new volume was just released) but better late than never!  And of course, I love this series just as much as the previous two. omg omg omg omg omg omg OMG WHAT DID I JUST READ.
