To be totally honest, Marvel and DC aren’t a major geekdom of mine. But upon recommendations, first by friends IRL and again here at CannonballReads, I started the Ms. Marvel series by G. Willow Wilson et al. I adore Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel. I am so glad that G. Willow Wilson is writing her. I’m so happy this all exists. Kamala has come a long way from her exposure to the Terrigen mist and that first fan girly team up with Wolverine. Goodreads recently posted the Hugo Nominations for Novel and Graphic Story, and while I don’t think I am going to make my way through many of the nominated books, I did find a few I was interested in.
