To be totally honest, Marvel and DC aren’t a major geekdom of mine. But upon recommendations, first by friends IRL and again here at CannonballReads, I started the Ms. Marvel series by G. Willow Wilson et al. Goodreads recently posted the Hugo Nominations for Novel and Graphic Story, and while I don’t think I am going to make my way through many of the nominated books, I did find a few I was interested in. Here’s the deal. I’m apologizing up front for these two reviews. I’m currently sitting in an elementary school gym, typing away on my phone’s wordpress app, waiting for the chorus to come out and perform their spring concert. Selections include “Payphone” by Maroon 5 and “Treasure” by Bruno Mars.
