Ennui over too many comic-book characters is a thing, I guess.

After the intriguing revisit to Gotham City in The Dark Knight Returns, I wondered what sort of sequel The Dark Knight Strikes Again would be. I’m at best a tourist of Marvel and DC Comics–and by that, I mean my general exposure happens through whatever mainstream movie or TV series is occurring at the moment.
