Recently my work email had email telling that a book was coming but also singing the praises of A Stone Sat Still by Brendan Wenzel. When a book gets high praise, I tend to be skeptical. Life

Dealing with Life (a beautiful, changing, not easy thing) this author/illustrator team have created a lovely work that is truly poetic. Author Cynthia Rylant and Brendan Wenzel (illustrator) have created a home run out of the park with Life. While there is a lot of heartache to Life they show that there is a lot of good, too. Perspective matters.

I read and review a LOT of picture books. Clearly I have many opinions on this topic. I can’t even blame my current lifestyle of Squishie Wrangler- I’ve always collected picture books, the only difference is now I have to share them. Books are precious and magic.
