Mormons An Open Book: What you really want to know

January 30, 2014 by elecamel Leave a Comment

A coworker of mine knew that I had been reading a couple of books about various religions and movements earlier in the year and asked what I knew about Mormonism, his religion. Admitting that I didn’t know much, I asked for a book recommendation. To read the resulting review, head over to my blog…

Caught in the Shadows

January 8, 2014 by elecamel Leave a Comment

This is not an easy book. It’s not an easy topic. Author Lawrence Wright has brought to life the history and people who created the most well known terrorist organization in the modern world: Al-Qaeda. In addition to the history behind the organization, Wright touches on the individuals and the political climate of a region unfamiliar to many Americans that birthed this movement. To read further, please head to my blog.
