Still Foolin’ Em: Billy Crystal at his Best

February 23, 2014 by bignick Leave a Comment

Comedy is often built on tragedy. Memoirs are a form of literature that often mines a person’s tragedy to create universal feelings in the reader. Billy Crystal’s Still Foolin’ Em: Where I’ve Been, Where I’m Going, and Where the Hell Are My Keys is a brilliant memoir from a supremely funny man. Augment: Human Services review

January 13, 2014 by bignick Leave a Comment

This review is for Augment: Human Services by Phil Elmore. It’s a science-fiction/action story set in a future where people have undergone extreme cybernetic augmentations. The lead character is an agent of the State meant to police the Augments and protect the “normal” population from them. It’s a interesting read. Here’s the link for my review: http://kingscrier.blogspot.com/2014/01/augment-human-services-brutal-future-of.html
