I went to copy and paste my (if I do say so myself) fantastic review of Nature Adventures with Bompa V02: Bompa’s Intertidal Adventure by David Suzuki, Sarika Cullis-Suzuki, Tanya Lloyd Kyi, and illustrator Qin Leng (read via an online reader copy, due in September 2026). And because my hands were not working/I was not completely ready to do so, I deleted my entire review. My last review for Bingo and POOF! Away it went! Now, the good thing is I got to read it again (again online reader copy) so I could refresh my memory as it was a while since I had read it and written the review. 
This read reinforced that while I enjoyed Nature Adventures with Bompa V01 Bompa’s Insect Expedition, I prefer the family’s end of summer adventure. This is probably because at the time I had read a lot of insect books and having a summer and ocean book was fresh. Still, I have read many ocean books, but there was something about the fictionization of non fiction that really works.
The twin grandchildren have so many adventures because they are lucky enough to have David Suzuki as their grandfather, their Bompa. However, this time the twins show Bompa all the wonders, as we come along for the journey. All types of flora and fauna, and facts and environmental issues come together in a delightful read. Amazon facts, ways to help and more are accessible to the younger readers. And of course, adults can enjoy it as well. There is a lot to take in, but take your time and explore. This exploration is complimented by sweet, simple (but not simplistic) images that have soft colors, and have strength. It is a cozy, fun and educational read.
