I have always loved reading historical fiction. I learn so much about various people, times, events, and places in history. I will occasionally read a really good non-fiction history book (especially non-fiction that reads like fiction).
This year we will continue to have genre based zoom discussions with our first one about historical fiction and non-fiction. Here are some questions to ponder (and comment down below about and talk about on our zoom call!)
- Do you like your history reading to be fiction or non-fiction?
- Do you have specific time periods or historic events that you like to read about?
- Do you have specific types of historic figures that you like to read about – world leaders, trailblazers, etc.?
- Do you have specific places that you like to read about the history of?
- Do you have a favorite historical fiction or historical non-fiction author?
