If you are reading this, then you have a Cannonball story! For this diversion, we would like to hear your Cannonball story. How did you discover Cannonball Read? How long did you lurk or follow Cannonball Read? When did you finally join? What was the impetus to finally make that plunge and join?
For me, I learned about Cannonball Read from faintingviolet, who I know in the real world. I don’t remember spending much time lurking. I immediately recognized that this was a place for people who reviewed an eclectic variety of books. I signed up for the first time for Cannonball Read 11. I continue to be amazed by the wide range of books that are reviewed. This is a welcoming and wonderful community of book lovers. I always find great unknown reads from your suggestions, either on the blog or during our zoom events. One recent highlight in my Cannonball story was meeting another Cannonballer in real life. To me the Cannonball Reads “virtual” community is a part of my “real life” community.
