Trigger warning: This book has a solid trigger before reading warning readers regarding depression and suicide.
Thought this was a solid romance though have to say that the initial crush/like that Ari has on Russ doesn’t really ring true. I wish that Solomon had explored more why Ari was so ready to open up to Russ but not to her former fiancée who complained about her wearing a false face about how happy she was. I never got the sense he didn’t love her or they weren’t right for each other. I got the sense that she ran away because she didn’t want to open herself up to anyone. Once I got past that part though, I enjoyed the rest of the book. It was very sweet and I loved it.
