Everyone knows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens as the story of a mean old miser named Scrooge who has a change of heart after being visited by four ghosts. I have seen many film versions of this story, but I can’t really choose a favourite amongst them as they include things that I like and things that I don’t. The main difference between the movies and the book is that the book has many things that the movies don’t include, such as the two wolfish children that the Ghost of Christmas Present reveals from his robes and the fact that you can’t really see a face on the Ghost of Christmas Past.
I read it mainly because A Christmas Carol is a classic and I like classics. I read it in on my dad’s Kindle. I like reading on the Kindle because you can look up any words you want. I looked up many words that I did not know. I absolutely created a new version of the characters in my head, most of which were not like any in the movies. It was good because now I have my own personal version of the story in my head.
