Double Bingo, so at least this book was good for something

October 27, 2018 by Ellesfena Leave a Comment

Ugh, I didn’t enjoy this book in the slightest, which I guess makes sense since it fills the Not My Wheelhouse square for Bingo. The Vacationers is the story of a family from New York that goes on vacation to Mallorca, along with their oldest son’s girlfriend, and the best friend of the wife and his husband. However, the authors have only thinly disguised their preference for classics. The tone I found while reading is that “Oh this YA book is good… but classics are still better.” and “teenagers won’t change their views/perspectives based off books!”. Both these statement are total bullshit for me so I highly disagreed with their opinions and […]

I felt the same way. Interesting concept, but the execution was lacking.

on Sometimes, a book cover promises cats and lies. This book, on the other hand, delivers in spades. SO many cats, guys.
