Thank you, BlackRaven!

December 5, 2024 by narfna 2 Comments

I came home last night after a pretty yucky day to a lovely surprise from what I presume is BlackRaven’s local bookstore. She sent me a Julie Andrews novel I’ve been wanting to read forever (Mandy is one of my all-time favorite children’s books), and a book that I put on my TBR because of CBR! Its Jolabokaflod time!!

December 24, 2018 by scootsa1000 5 Comments

Happy Jolabokaflod, everyone! As is tradition, we all just opened our Cannonball exchange books, and everyone is over the moon. Big thanks to avivaguthrie, debcapsfan, blackraven, and fainting violet for filling our home with Stuart Gibbs and World War II and glorious graphic novels (Mockingbird!) and narwhals and horses and unicorns and book plates and Homegoing and Born Confused! You all rock and we couldn’t be more grateful for everything. Happy holidays!!
