A collection of poems. Seems very autobiographical. I haven’t read poetry for a very long time and I picked this up because I used to know the author. This is his first book published even though he has published in many magazines, and collections. Easily digestable but have a way to stick with you after you read them.

I randomly picked this up, when not feeling my best and wanted an easy romance novel to enjoy. Now I’m happy this is actually the first in a series, and I can’t wait for the second installement. The leads (2 sisters) are charming and their adventures are very effective. They actually had me google things to make sure that they were historically accurate. And they were.
