I usually will provide readers a breakdown of each story, but I am not going to this time. I tried to finish this book over 4 plus days and finally threw in the towel today. This anthology has short stories by a lot of popular horror authors such as Cassandra Khaw, Paul Tremblay, Garth Nix and others. But this just didn’t work. I assume the main theme was around death and horror. But that was too broad I think since none of the stories really gelled with me and I kept going what was that for some of them. Honestly Paul Tremblay’s story is what finished me off of even finishing this. His short story, “The Sentence” was just that, 10 pages of one sentence……I could not. My brain is still mad at me about that story.
I did like all of the illustrations that were included.
