CBR18 Bingo: And – Saskia gets both her ex and her new love.
Saskia is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her one-time-college-hookup-turned-best-friend Henry. She’s decorated her English country cottage for Christmas, and Henry is arriving from New York to spend the holidays with her.
Saskia is going through an amicable divorce with her husband, Casper. She and Henry have decided to give romance a chance since they have always loved each other and feel safe with one another.
Moments after Henry arrives, a second pair of headlights blasts through the windows as Saskia’s soon-to-be-ex Caspar pulls up to the cottage. He thought Saskia would be in New York with Henry, and is surprised to find the cottage occupied.
Saskia is annoyed that she cannot proceed with her sexy Christmas plans with her ex-husband still there. However, Henry is a good sport about it. It is a little awkward but no one makes an issue of it. Saskia is exasperated, but decides to let it slide since Casper will be out of her hair the following day.
Lo and behold, an overnight snowstorm traps them in the cottage. After a few cheeky remarks from Casper about a threesome, Saskia asks him why he’s provoking them. Casper confesses that he understands why Saskia wanted a divorce, but he would like one last chance to help fulfill her deepest fantasies involving having two lovers taking care of her. To everyone’s surprise, Henry is totally up for it. Casper takes the lead and orchestrates a weekend of sexy activities that satisfy Saskie’s kinks, Henry’s curiosity and subservient side, and Caspar’s dominant demeanor.
This book was fine. I learned about it from a romance tiktoker claiming that it was four-alarm-fire hot. However, the context translated to a couple of kinks that were not for me. It is hot but not my style. I found Casper really annoying and not in a fun way. It was a fast, silly read, but I probably won’t read anything else by this author.
