CBR18 Bingo: Wheels – André and Luke have a meet-cute when André helps Luke change a flat tire.
Luke and André re-meet at a mutual friend’s wedding. They were in similar industries when they were younger, but never spent much time together. Luke was a teenage actor who used his acting money to train as a professional baker. André was part of a very popular boy band, and has since transitioned to musical theater in London. When Luke gets a flat tire in the snow on the way to his friend/ex’s wedding, André helps him change the tire and safely transport the wedding cake.
The two of them are shy but very much into one another. Luckily, they are both up-front about their mutual attraction and decide to take advantage of the proximity at the destination wedding and hook up. André admits he had a massive crush on Luke, but never asked him out because Luke had been dating André’s bandmate, Kane. Luke confesses that he and Kane were only a couple in name. Their relationship had been constructed for the press to maintain a squeaky-clean image for Kane and as a boost for Luke’s acting career.
The wedding goes smoothly, however neither Luke nor André want to say goodbye after a very hot weekend together.
This is a low-angst, high-heat romance with charming MCs. It is a little too good to be true with confessions of true love within a ludicrously short timespan. However, that is not a complaint. This is a fast, easy, fluffy read with medium smut.
