This was too slow. I don’t even know what to say. The only Sarah Gailey book I have liked and managed to finish was Just Like Home. And that was slow as anything too. I have tried multiple times since last year to finish The Echo Wife and now this was just too much too. I just wish that the plot had moved a lot faster than what I got. I just found myself bored. I thought reading about a woman who in essence joins a cult [Celia] would be really interesting. But I found myself getting tired of Celia and her inner thoughts really fast. And there were too many time line shifts for me to even think about following. I just gave up at 12 percent.
