With time running out, a solution needs to be found that won’t break all three of their hearts.
I picked this up because so many other folks raved about it, and it did not disappoint. This was such a fun read. I loved just about everything about it and wanted more by the time I reached the end of the book. The characters are wonderful. The main trio are all delightful. I have my favorite of them, but that’s only by a smidge. And I want to wrap all of them in a blanket and just give them nice things. They have such a great dynamic together, and I really liked the way all of the personalities worked together and complimented one another. And then there’s the supporting cast. I would definitely read book about several of them.
The world is also absolutely fascinating. It feels vibrant and real, and I hope we get to see more of it in the next book. I really want to know more about its history. The little bits that we get are intriguing and where the book ends makes me hungry for more about both the world and the characters in it. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants some spicy fantasy. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series, and I’m definitely going to have to get my hands on some of this author’s other books. Four out of five stars.
