Illness and big-ass books make for strange bedfellows. Peter Clines brings his superheroes vs. zombies saga to a close – definitely for now and probably for good. Serge keeps serging, spewing Florida trivia and murdering a-holes. Aubrey & Maturin are saaaaaiiilllling like Chris Cross. And I embrace the horror of water reclamation and how we essentially ruined our country trying to tame rivers.
