How many times have you participated in CBR?
Seven.
Has it changed the way you read?
Yes, it encouraged me to join more book clubs to read a wider variety and larger quantity of books!
If you were to get a book-related tattoo, what would it be?
Unfortunately, I can’t get any tattoos, but I’d probably wear a “reading is magic” temporary tattoo for fun.
What are your three desert island books?
Oh, this one is so hard as I read so many genres. If I’d have to pick from what’s in my house right now, it’d be Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Rumi poetry collection and Shadows in Starlight by Elaine Cunningham.
Your blog bio says you’re a travel nut. On a long flight, do you load up a Kindle, listen to audio books on your phone, or stuff a purse/backpack full of paperbacks?
1-2 paperbacks and then at least 5 on my kindle app.
How do you decide what’s next to read on your TBR list?
I like to mix it up, but usually anything due for book club takes precedent and then the next book in whatever fantasy series I’m in. After that usually a romance book.
Food is often the best part of travel (for me, anyway). What’s the most unusual/outrageous/”never thought I’d love it” dish you’ve tried on your travels?
Black pudding in Scotland. It’s actually really good with a breakfast fry up.
Anything else?
I have a book buying habit that has now exceeded all the shelf space in my room 3x over! I even have claimed space in my roommate’s shelf and maxed it out with double rows!
