I haven’t read a lot of science-fiction, I was never interested in it when I was a kid even though my dad tried to get me into it. But I also don’t decide what to read based on genre. If something sounds appealing I will read it, I don’t care what genre it is supposed to be. As for this novella, I don’t even remember how I found it but the summary sounded amazing so I decided to buy it. And I don’t regret buying it. I didn’t love it but I liked it and I’m curious about what happens next.

Binti is a math genius and has been admitted to the prestigious Oomza University. However, her people never leave their land and her family tells her she can’t go. So Binti runs away.
