So my sister read Most Talkative as one of her 260 books last year and lent me her copy because she knew it would appeal to me on my most shallow level. Or maybe because she christened me as most talkative decades ago and wanted me to read about my male counterpart? While badkittyuno glossed over the Bravo portion of Andy’s life, I could put names to faces. I still watch Top Chef, was briefly obsessed with Flipping Out and watched the first few seasons of RHWOC, RHNY, and RHA, although I haven’t watched anything recently. I would love for Andy to write an updated edition with all his thoughts on Teresa Giudice’s current legal woes.
Andy isn’t all Bravo though. After a sunny upbringing in St. Louis throughout the 70s and 80s Andy made his way to Boston University for college; after earning his degree he used his summer internship at CBS to land a permanent job. His stories from the front lines of pop culture in the 90s and early 00s are told through the eyes of someone at one of the lowest rated morning shows on network TV- which makes the book that much more enjoyable. Andy made most of his connections in life by talking to anyone who would listen; several of his current close friends were his higher ups throughout his early days in broadcasting. Andy lives for pop culture; he unabashedly adores Susan Lucci and admits to several other fan-girling moments throughout his career.
