How is it possible that a book about early DNA science could be so mind-numbingly boring? Perhaps being written in 1978 by real biochemists is the cause. Coming off the rails
I knew heading in that the second book in the Divergent series was kind of a train wreck, but I am a completist. I am persistent and stubborn and I was on a strong female protagonist kick! Rocket Raccoon is the best.
I read some article over the summer when the Guardians of the Galaxy movie came out that listed this as one of the books I should check out if I wanted to beef up on Marvel shnizz before seeing it. Overstuffed and implausible, but still a fun read.
See, this is what happens when you read comics.
