Things I’m Seeing Without You is about a girl named Tess. When we first see her, she is dropping out of her boarding school to go live with her estranged father. The boy she loved, Jonah, just killed himself, and Tess is (understandably) distraught. Her father has always pursued some outlandish career goal; the current one is funeral planning. Tess decides to help him, and they plan a great memorial for a beloved racehorse. They decide to become partners and form a new, closer bond. Then Tess gets a Facebook message from Jonah, and things get complicated.
